The Generals , Portland’s high-octane Rock juggernaut, are set to headline the 2025 Make Music Day Festival on June 21st in downtown Aberdeen, WA, as part of the global World Music Day celebration. They’ll take the spotlight on The Music Project’s Main Stage, joining a powerful lineup for what promises to be one of the largest music events in the region.

The Music Project is more than just a venue—it’s a community-focused music lab, café, and radio station that also operates the legendary “Nirvana Unplugged” Museum. The Make Music Day Festival is a city-wide, all-day event drawing thousands, with support from artists like Krist Novoselic and his Bona Fide Band, Roger Fisher with the Human Tribe, and Angel Bouchet (of Portlandia) and her Blues band. Aberdeen is expected to break local records with the number of performances in a single day.
