German Heavy and Dark Rock powerhouse Wolfskull have released a new video for the song “Netherworld In Flames,” taken from their current album “Midnite Masters,” that is out on Metalapolis Records/SPV.
The track itself is a full-throttle anthem, written with the spirit of Classic Heavy Metal in mind and executed with the band’s unmistakable bite. “Our fourth video single ‘Netherworld In Flames’ is pure adrenaline – a no-compromise banger that hits straight from the start. That’s why we paired it with a Live In The Raw video that captures our raw energy in its purest form,” says guitarist Bjørn Fehl. “When writing the song, we drew some inspiration from the vibes of classic DIO tracks like Night People or I Speed At Night, but of course with our unmistakable WOLFSKULL DNA. This track is all about fun: we want to see banging heads and raised fists in the front rows!”
The video delivers exactly that: a raw, unfiltered stage performance caught on camera, translating the band’s firepower into pure visuals. No fancy concepts, no storyline distractions—just the five-piece in their natural environment, pushing amps, lights and audience energy to the limit.

“Netherworld In Flames” stands as one of the fiercest cuts on “Midnite Masters,” a record that sees the band evolve their sound while staying true to their roots in Dark Heavy Rock. Recorded with producer Jörg Uken at Soundlodge Studio (Anvil, Suicide Angels, Dew Scented, Temple of Dread, among others), the album captures the atmosphere of midnight rides, hidden corners of the night, and the pulse of the underground—an energy that finds its most explosive form on stage. With the new video, Wolfskull invite fans directly into that space: close, loud, and raw.
Founded in early 2018, Wolfskull immediately garnered attention in the scene with their debut EP, the subsequent debut album, “Ave Goddess,” hit like a thunderclap in December 2022 and they also landed opening slots for Skid Row and an exclusive WDR Rockpalast TV gig as part of the Crossroads Festival series.
In 2025, Wolfskull returned louder, detached, and with even more drive. With the arrival of new second guitarist Mike Nero at the beginning of 2024, a noticeable breath of fresh air came into the band, which was directly reflected in the new material.
