Five years after “Yellow Sea” (2020), Wormhog return with their new album “Transience,” marking a new chapter in their sonic identity. The Progressive Rock/Metal band from Tripolis leaves the stoner riffs and desert aesthetic of their debut behind, diving deeper into psychedelic and progressive currents while further developing its grunge and metal character.
“Transience” captures a band that has matured, experimented, and found a new balance between melody and psychedelia. With strong rhythmic variety, a narrative structure, and atmospheric passages, the album creates a unified, cohesive sonic journey that explores the fragility of human existence and the struggle against decay and alienation.
