Sendelica is an instrumental band that combines a strong imprinting Space Rock with Psychedelia and a modern touch given by electronic sounds. The new album “Man, Myth & Magic” was released on December 15, 2023 via Fruits De Mer Records and contains four epic tracks ranging from over 15 to over 20 minutes in duration. Given the length of the tracks, the physical version of the album was released by the label as a double LP with a very attractive cover. This is the third chapter in this series divided into 4 albums that deal with themes related to the relationship between man, religion, magic and our planet. The album’s sounds are a mixture of classic Space Rock, modern Psychedelia and an electronic touch in some passages. The long duration of the tracks allows the band to develop their musical concept, exploring all the facets that characterise their style. The wide range of instruments at the band’s disposal allows them to bring out their ideas, spanning a wide range of sounds and stylistic solutions. All tracks are exploited in their entirety to develop the central themes that compose them, enhancing the band’s compositional and performing technique. In this chapter of the series, the band concentrates on the development of a more experimental sound, imbued with effects and sound modulations, reminiscent of the Kosmische Musik of the 1970s, proposed with a fresh and modern touch. The sounds are dilated and the atmospheres are enveloping, accompanying the listener through this journey somewhere between the mystical and the cosmic. A challenging listen given the long duration of the tracks and the complexity of the themes developed within them, but enjoyable for all lovers of the genre. Another good discographic release produced by this label, which is always attentive to highlighting modern artists of more refined genres such as this.
