Northern Irish Prog legends Fruupp are to have a brand new box set released. It’s the final move from the Fruupp Project, fan-run website which highlights the work of the band which has thus far seen the release of a limited edition live single and the “Masquerading With Dawn” live album which was released back in September 2022.

We are launching an amazing, final and very collectible Fruupp Project product, entitled “Fruupp – A Twilight Adventure,” in the form of a beautiful and lavish “Fruupp Box,” which contains three main products: a DVD, a Mini-Book and a CD.
We have produced a fantastic audio/visual Fruupp Live DVD, which consists of five tracks from “Masquerading With Dawn,” with cinematic quality film created by Richard Hall. If modern film techniques had been available in the 70s, the Fruupp Live Video might have looked like this. It is an audio visual delight.
The literary product of the Fruupp Box is a mini-book. Much has been written about the band already, especially with the recent magazine and social media articles. Robert Cochrane, a renowned writer and poet, has now pieced together what hasn’t been written about Fruupp before. ‘Masquerades’ will tell the untold tale, including the band’s place in the context of 70s Northern Ireland and Progressive Rock, how the flames burned out and then the unlikely rise of the phoenix from the ashes since 2020. It will include previously unseen photos.
The audio product in The Fruupp Box will be “Fruupp Live – Olde Tyme Future” a CD consisting of four remastered live tracks from 1974, featuring all four original members of the band and therefore including Stephen Houston on keyboards. The title of the album is the one track not included on the double album, all four are from a different concert to that on the album. As everyone thought “It’s All Up Now” and there’d be no more music, we suspect this will come as quite a surprise.
There will also be a brand new poster, a brand new badge and five vintage-style Fruupp postcards featuring the band members in each Fruupp Box.
We intend producing 500 limited edition copies of this exclusive product. The packaging will be a work of art, like our previous products and it is bound to become very collectible. We will initially be offering the Fruupp Box for sale solely via Fruuppstore.com, with a retail price of just £40. Profits made will once again go to the original four band members.
“Fruupp – A Twilight Adventure” is now available for pre-order from our online shop. Like our previous products, and these again being limited edition of 500 boxes, we expect them to sell very quickly, so please order as soon as possible to avoid missing out! Deliveries will be made later in this year.
