Gothenburg, Sweden based Heavy Rock band Dead Man’s Dirt has released the first single “Children Of The Sun” taken from their upcoming five-track EP. Stream the single through the Spotify player below:
The band comments: “As we are now a five-man band gifted with organist and steady drummer, we intend to release some new usages and upgrades of previous songs in this setting. First up is »Children Of The Sun«, a re-recording of an old song.
We are currently recording an EP with the theme of giants. We planned to record 5 songs in total, of wich two are already recorded and mixed.”
Dead Man’s Dirt is a five-piece band from Gothenburg, Sweden. Their music is influenced by the Heavy Blues Rock of the 70s, Stoner, Doom and lots of other stuff.
After a several singles, Dead Man’s Dirt released their self-titled debut album on October 28, 2022 on CD and digital on Ozium Records (double LP vinyl delayed due to war, famine and evil forces).
Recorded in Studio Svart and mixed by Erik Skytt from Amalthea and Blessings, he was also session drummer on 6 of the 13 tracks. Esben Willems from Monolord did the mastering and the artwork was made by the band’s bassist Thomas Franzén.
In the 90s guitarist Anders Harning played with Bozeman’s Simplex, and after he moved to Gothenbourg he started Resande Man with bass player Thomas Franzén, singer Fredrik Haglund and Tommy Stegemann on guitar. Fredrik went on to Earth Messiah and Tommy joined Dun Ringill.
