Budapest, Hungary based Doom Metal quartet Magma Rise is back with their fourth full-length album, “Neither Land Nor Sea,” which was just released on April 5th, 2024 via H-Music / Daredevil Records.

Magma Rise was founded in June 2009 by current and former members of Hungarian underground band Mood (definitive Doom Metal band 1993-2001), Wall Of Sleep, Stereochrist and Neck Sprain. The band currently consists of guitarists Kolos Hegyi (Stereochrist, ex-Mood) and László Herczeg (Noble Victory, Sunday Fury, ex-Stereochrist), bassist/vocalist Gábor Holdampf (ex-Mood, ex-Wall Of Sleep) and drummer Sándor Bánfalvi (ex-Neck Sprain).
Three years after “To Earth To Ashes To Dust,” the new studio album of the flag bearer of the domestic Doom Metal scene has arrived, the 9-track “Neither Land Nor Sea” LP.
“We have now managed to create a musically nuanced, versatile material, which is a worthy continuation of the previous record. The spectrum is quite wide, from tumultuous themes, through slowed-down traditional doom to longer-breathing grassroots epics.” says the band.
