This is the Argentine’s fifth studio album. And being such a strange, unique album, nobody can say it is strange that it’s their number FIVE album. A prime number that can only be divided by itself.
Fughu dived into Progressive Metal waters on their first album “Absence,” then delved into more Classic Prog music on their double album “Human.” After that, and with a vocalist change included, they turned to a more direct and rocker style with their fourth album “Lost Connection.” Now, Fughu surprises everybody with “Stolen Pictures,” putting in check anything we could have expected from them. An album only for the brave who dare listen to Music in its most pure state. Totally unfit for conservative or easy-music-listeners.
Maybe “Stolen Pictures” will end up being a cult album, for a very special (and specific) audience. With a sound and production that can only be labelled as impeccable, Fughu adds a new album to their list, for the few who have enough courage.
