Oscillotron returns this fall with its fourth full-length “Sniezna” — a Cinematic journey through Cosmic Doom, haunted electronics and dreamlike horror atmospheres.

Oscillotron is the solo project of David Johansson (frontman of the doom metal band Kongh since 2004, and former touring member of Cult Of Luna between 2013-2019).

The new album draws inspiration from horror and Electronic pioneers such as Wendy Carlos, Fabio Frizzi and Tangerine Dream, as well as the unsettling worlds of H.P. Lovecraft and Lucio Fulci. Certain sections, particularly the tracks “Natt” and “Catafalque,” are based on reworked material originally developed for Kongh — sketches that finally found their place within Oscillotron’s sound.

The result is a meeting of past and present: Doom and Ambient, dream and reality.
