With “Trained to Ignore,” Italy’s Paraxenia turns its attention to the quiet disconnection of modern life. The song reflects on a world shaped by noise, speed, and constant distraction, where people gradually learn to overlook one another, ignore discomfort, and keep moving without really seeing what surrounds them. Through dystopian imagery, the track sketches a setting in which truth becomes inconvenient and attention itself starts to feel like a flaw.
Musically, “Trained to Ignore” moves like a slow awakening, shifting between tension and release while the lyrics question the illusion of comfort and the passive acceptance of a distracted society.
