Swedish Heavy Metal supergroup Dead Kosmonaut (feat. members of Sorcerer, Unleashed, Nifelheim, Firespawn & more) have unveiled the first single, “Wake Of Aquarius,« taken from their upcoming album, “Retrospectre,” set for release on June 26, 2026 via Edged Circle Productions.

Dead Kosmonaut — an entity born from the urge of playing Heavy Metal without creative limitations just like the pioneers of early Hard Rock. Primarily influenced by legends like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath and Candlemass.
The new album “Retrospectre” is now finally upon us. Just like proper music should be. Unlimited, alive and independent from all trends. With timeless, magnificent, and real craftmanship in every layer. We at ECP are very pleased to be fortunate enough to release this Swedish masterpiece. This is the first single from the album and a total banger of a song.
Just listen to the magnificence of Pelle Gustafsson’s vocals, the thunderous bass of founder Mattias Reinholdsson, the consistency of drummer Henrik Johansson and the double guitar attack of Fredrik Folkare and Peter Hallgren.
Together they have experience from bands like Nifelheim, Book Of Hours, Firespawn, Hellbutcher, Unleashed, Necrophobic and Sorcerer to mention a few.
The album dwelling on themes of time and hindsight are a work of a band, not just a project — with all members participating in the creative process.
