Bulgarian Atmospheric Metal and Folklore unit smallman have unveiled the official visualizer for “Ясно слънце” (“Clear Sun“), the 7-minute centerpiece track from their fourth full-length album, “Отвъд” (“Beyond“), released on June 11, 2026.

Formed in Asenovgrad, smallman have forged a distinct identity over the past two decades by blending traditional Balkan Folklore elements—such as the Bulgarian bagpipe (gaida) and kaval—with Heavy, slow-tempo Atmospheric Metal structures and Electronic soundscapes. Ten years in the making, “Отвъд” represents the sextet’s first full-length effort with their expanded line-up, integrating electronics and traditional string instruments alongside their established Rock rhythm section.
Written 1,500 meters above sea level in the mountain village of Manastir, the album marks the first time in smallman’s history where all lyrics are performed entirely in Bulgarian. For “Ясно слънце,” the band incorporated traditional Bulgarian Folklore lyrics.
The single features guest vocals by Bulgarian Folklore singer Asya Pincheva (of TRIGAIDA and Oratnitza fame), whose performance joins lead vocalist Cvetan Hadzhiyski against a backdrop of downtuned guitars, intricate electronic layers, and acoustic strings.
Recorded in 2025 and produced by smallman, “Отвъд” was released on June 11, 2026. Beside digital formats, the album is available in a limited audiophile physical edition of 300 hand-numbered 180g solid white 12″ gatefold vinyls.
