Spanish Progressive instrumental Metal trio Massa Djent have officially presented “Djegantium,” the title-track extracted from their debut full-length album.
Clocking in at 5 minutes and 29 seconds, “Djegantium” serves as the centerpiece and final track of the seven-song record, which officially launched on August 25, 2026. The composition highlights the group’s core sound, combining technical djent structures with expansive Progressive Metal arrangements.

Hailing from Ciutadella on the island of Menorca, Massa Djent operates as a power trio comprising Josep Casasnovas on guitars, Lluís Garcia on bass, and Mário L. Thompson on drums. The members bring a seasoned background to the project, having previously performed in established Spanish acts including Angoixa, Eanna, Madera, and Bigmot & the whiteys.
The creation of the title track and its accompanying album spans more than two years of songwriting and evolution. The music was written between 2024 and 2025, with all tracking completed inside the band’s rehearsal room between 2025 and 2026. Production duties were shared between the band and Marc Figueras, who also handled mixing and mastering at Produccions F2F.
The record also features guest contributions that expand its sonic range, including didgeridoo recordings by Toni Camps Garmon, keyboards and synthesizers by Toni Ocanya, and drum recording engineering assistance from technician Josemi. The visual identity of the release is anchored by album cover artwork from photographer Enric Gener.
Speaking on the journey behind the release, Massa Djent shared:
This is our very first album, the result of more than two years of hard work and lots of structural changes. We love to mix different music styles with a touch of Djent and progressive metal.
