“SUPER REBOUND” is an action packed record with an unsound hero at the wheel. Wildly navigating through a landscape filled with leaden riffs, open harmonies, foghorns, and a dose of unadulterated joy and radiant bliss. Deranged, but sweet. Fuming with feels.
The record chronicles the ultimate comeback arc. Sure, some battles were lost along the way: haven’t we all been there? Super Rebound is about channeling the weight of those setbacks into an unstoppable, triumphant momentum against any malicious force trying to drag the world around you down. It’s a high-octane, neon-soaked celebration of hitting back with a huge smiling fist.
Throughout this full-technicolor, bone-breaking ride, a sense of deep mystery looms. The path toward victory is rarely a straight line: at times the album acts as a soundtrack to getting lost in a Heavy fog, misled by an enticing siren’s song. Yet, the haze always parts to reveal blinding clarity. “SUPER REBOUND” is a joyful yet crushing sonic reminder that evil simply doesn’t stand a chance against pure, good-natured fury — an unwritten law of cosmic balance that 30.000 Monkies are hell-bent on enforcing.
