A Night Beyond the Stars will bring a night of dark, atmospheric, and emotionally charged music to Rome on Friday, January 16th, 2026, at the Wishlist Club (San Lorenzo area). The event will feature three bands moving across the boundaries of Progressive Metal, Post-Doom, and Instrumental Post-Rock, united by a shared exploration of melancholic moods, introspection, and sonic depth.
Headlining the night are Ghost On Mars, a Progressive Metal band whose sound blends complex song structures with ethereal and introspective lyrical themes. Their music unfolds as a journey through cosmic imagery and emotional tension, balancing technical precision with a strong atmospheric component, and positioning the band within the more expressive and modern side of the Progressive Metal spectrum.
Also on the bill are Still Wave, a Post-Doom project shaped by slow-burning heaviness, emotional desolation, and post-romantic tension. Their approach emphasizes atmosphere and weight, channeling a sense of existential collapse through dense textures and evocative dynamics.
Opening the evening, Echo Atom will present their Instrumental Post-Rock vision, rooted in the genre’s Cinematic language while maintaining a clear Progressive Rock sensibility. Their compositions develop through introspective themes and carefully constructed dynamics, creating an intimate yet powerful listening experience.
