The Temple of The King 1975–1976” celebrates the 50th anniversary of Rainbow’s formation with a definitive 9xCD boxset. Featuring newly mastered albums alongside live performances, rare recordings including alternate versions and more, this collection offers fans a comprehensive look at the band’s early years.

The set also includes a 24 page booklet packed with extensive liner notes, rare photographs, memorabilia, and brand new sleeve notes by Rich Davenport—making it an essential celebration of Rainbow’s legacy.

A comprehensive 9xCD box set covering Rainbow’s 1975-1976 output. 

As well as including the band’s first two studio albums (Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow and Rainbow Rising), the set includes a trilogy of live albums from Rainbow’s debut world tour and a disc featuring rare mixes, edits, demos and studio rehearsal performances.

Remastered by Andy Pearce and Matt Wortham, the booklet contains sleeve notes by Rich Davenport reflecting on the impact of the band after Ritchie Blackmore‘s split from Deep Purple.
