The Rock band Alásido, exhibits “Carrusel”, the second preview of their next album “Don’t be afraid”. The song is a composition with lilting ritualistic overtones, about lyrics that embrace symbols of childhood, fire, madness, storm and the dreamlike. An essential track in Alásido‘s live shows and that today is already available on all online download platforms. Watch the video below:
“Carousel” appears in difficult times, to connect with childish experiences and sensations and identify ourselves today with all of us who feel somewhat lost. It is part of the album “Don’t be afraid” and it happens to “Salaín“, the first single promoted in 2020. It was recorded and produced in the Atacama desert and corresponds to their third studio work that will be released later this year. The album joins “Alásido” (2011) and “Ciegos en la Ruta” (2014), and contains sounds of constant travel, mixed with a pulsating Latin American root, diluted in rock and psychedelia. The band formed by Víctor “Keta” Fernández, on voice, guitar and keyboards, Matías Burgos on bass, Nicolás Villalobos on guitar, and Luis Gordo on drums, has toured the national stages for 15 years. Its seed was planted in the aridity of the Atacama desert, in the II Region of Antofagasta. Although their beginnings playing together date back to 2003, it was in 2006 that they formed as a group. They have performed in important national stages such as the Woodstaco Festival, Suena Rock and Spacetrip, in addition to touring the circuit of bars and cultural spaces from north to south. Since 2017 he has been part of the label, Ceguera Records, which in addition to publishing his first two albums, prepares the release of this third album by the end of 2020.
