The Swedish metal band is ending its European tour in the arenas with Sabaton and is ready to present a very special gift for Valentine’s Day: Amaranthe enliven the day with a brand new song with the participation of Angela Gossow, the former singer of Arch Enemy!
“Do Or Die” shows the heavy side of Amaranthe and comes out with a dystopian horror video shot in Spain, with the splendid creatures of Fardou Keuning (https://www.fardoukeuning.com)
Angela Gossow on the breathtaking collaboration that will liven up your Valentine’s day:
“It was exciting to join AMARANTHE for a more extreme song and shoot a cutting edge video! This is not a welcoming performance in the studio, but real freezing winds, sewers, corpses and pouring rain: the reality in which we live, the devastating legacy that we leave to our future generations. Time to wake up, turn – and bang – some heads! Pay attention to these guys and the killer lady, who will hit you this year with a new album and some powerful tours !!!“
Guitarist Olof Mörck says,
“While the music of AMARANTHE is often edifying, energetic and positive, sooner or later everyone has to face the obvious fact that the world is literally crumbling around us – and it is rapidly crumbling, due to the myopic abuse of our common Mother Land! We talked to the legendary Angela Gossow of ARCH ENEMY to make an entire package of a video and a song, outside of any normal album production cycle, and to collide our different perspectives on metal in a big explosion; the result was Do or Die! Together with Overbeck Media, who shot the video, we made something really special and Angela brings a new strength in the AMARANTHE branded sound that will surely echo throughout the metal world! Death and Fire!!!“
