Israel based Progressive Folk Metal band Amaseffer has unveiled the title-track from upcoming album, “When The Lions Leave Their Den,” set for release on October 8, 2026.

“The opening track of the album.
The nine minute+ epic opener is a collage of all the musical elements on the new album.
The narrative of this track is triumph of Faith over Evil. The flick from dark, sinister shadows into bright light, symbolizing the ultimate defeat of oppressive forces through faith. A place that the Hebrews will finally call home, the Promised Land. The unforgiving desert, marching through the scorching heat , but motivated by hope, a common destiny, and the leadership of a chosen one, Moses. The exodus from the claws of hounds.“

Amaseffer is an Israeli Progressive/Folk Metal band formed in Tel Aviv in June 2004. Created by drummer and percussionist Erez Yohanan, the project was envisioned as an epic, three-part musical trilogy detailing the Biblical Exodus. Guitarists Yuval Kramer and Hanan Avramovich soon completed the core trio. The group derived its name from the Hebrew phrase Am Ha’Sefer “People of the Holy Book.”
