Birmingham, Alabama based Progressive Doom Metal band EMBR is set to release their latest track, “(Tensions),” on October 15, 2024. The new single showcases the band’s signature Heavy, Melodic sound and powerful hooks, marking an exciting evolution in their musical journey. This announcement follows the band’s recent collaborative success with Thrumm, as the two groups joined forces to release a powerful cover of Corrosion Of Conformity’s (COC) “Albatross.” The single, a seamless blend of Doom, Sludge, Southern Rock and Heavy Metal, has received rave reviews, further highlighting EMBR’s versatility and ability to explore new sonic territories.
Following the success of their critically acclaimed self titled album, released via Black Doomba Records in 2023, EMBR continues to push sonic boundaries. Their debut earned them a coveted spot at the Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest 2024, solidifying their place in the Progressive Doom scene.
