Emerging from their lockdown stasis like a magnificent butterfly from a cocoon, the Seattle Prog Rockers known as Antinode have revealed the details for their debut EP “The Canary that Named the Stars” along with spacey artwork and a new single. On their Instagram they describe the album as, “a conceptual prog rock odyssey through loss and betrayal that searches for redemption in the stars.” Pre-Orders are open and the single is available for streaming through Bandcamp:

The full album drops on August 20, 2021.

Frontman Travis Corwin said about the single: “We like a sprawling prog epic, and even though ‘Belyd’ is the most concise song on the album it still takes you on a journey. It’s got some big dynamic shifts and unexpected turns that feel transformative. You end in a very different place from where you start.”
