After the great attention aroused in Italy and abroad by “A Prog Bible,” their debut album, the ApoGod Project now present the first video extracted from their CD. And they do it in style. The world premiere of the Egyptian Plagues clip – the song chosen precisely as the visual calling card of this grandiose prog metal fresco – took place abroad. The exclusive preview broadcast was in fact entrusted to the TV show Metal Invaders, hosted by Beatriz Menendez and Lingo Lara on the digital platform WOW TV, which
broadcasts from El Salvador. Metal Invaders, a staple for the dissemination of the world heavy scene, broadcast Egyptian Plagues throughout Latin America during the live episode of November 9, 2022 and then and in Portugal, Spain and Italy. Additionally, ApoGod Project were interviewed before the video aired. A decisive leap forward for the Sicilian duo, which after having aroused interest throughout Europe, thus places itself at the top of world interest in Italian prog metal music. All this just a few weeks after the release of A Prog Bible.
And it didn’t end there. The album will also make its live debut with a double theatrical event to be held in Messina on 2 and 4 December 2022. “A Prog Bible” will be performed in orchestral mode with a formation that will field, in addition to the two masterminds Patrick Fisichella and Giovanni Puliafito, a string quartet, a flautist, a clarinetist, a horn player and a solo voice, all under the orders of a Director. The first date will be held at the Papardo Auditorium and the second at the San Matteo Theater. The
ApoGod Project, meanwhile already working on further developments regarding the promotion of their Opera Prima, have just begun to amaze. The Egyptian Plagues video was made available to all on the band’s Youtube page starting at 1am on November 10, following the exclusive switch to Metal Invaders. Niche Italian music regains international dimension after the glories of the great Italian progressive of the 70s.
