From Magma to King Crimson via Gong or Nobuo Uematsu, Arnaud Quevedo‘s influences are numerous. His sometimes lyrical, sometimes Jazzy, often Funky universe, including obsessive loops and a few Heavy riffs, remains firmly anchored in a Progressive Jazz-Rock style. As soon as the opportunity arises, dance, theater or the visual arts are associated with the music he composes and conceives as a project in its own right: Grunky, OniZ, Le Voyage de Roan, or Electric Tales.
”Roan”(‘s journey) is an album that tells the story of a person’s journey through his unconscious imagination, following the inability to face the world around him.
