Madrid, Spain based progressive Rock/Metal band Âscent published the official music video for the track “Party” taken from their upcoming new album “Gamma,” due for release via Wormholedeath. Watch the video through the YouTube player below:

This album marks a major leap in the band’s quality. “Gamma” features diverse themes and styles, from uncompromising Progressive Metal to lyrical and Pop-oriented tracks with innovative arrangements. Developed throughout 2023, the album draws inspiration from classic Progressive Rock and Metal, blending them with Pop elements for a unique sound. Themes include sleep paralysis, World War II kamikazes, critiques of social media, mythological motifs, and a heartfelt tribute to a lost loved one.

Formed in Madrid in 2014, Âscent started by covering songs and quickly transitioned to crafting their distinctive sound. Their journey includes standout moments like debuting at Totofest in 2016 and dropping their first album, “Deep Schyzo Cycle,” in 2017. They’ve since showcased their versatility with tracks like “Stereo Thoughts” in 2019 and their Progressive Metal take on “Eleanor Rigby” in 2020. Their upcoming album “Gamma” promises to deliver diverse themes and innovative musical arrangements.
