Emerging from the underground scene of Alexandria, the Experimental artist Aura Abnormal has officially unveiled their latest full-length album, “The Shaman.” Released on July 27, 2026, the album is now available for full streaming and digital download, offering a haunting exploration of “Satanic Psychedelia” and internal desolation.

“The Shaman” represents a visceral fusion of genres, weaving together elements of Black Metal, Stoner Doom, and Post-Rock into a singular, suffocating atmosphere. Composed entirely by Aura Abnormal, the eight-track journey delves deep into themes of existential dread, addiction, and dark spiritualism. From the opening trip of “DMT (Dead Man’s Trip)” to the agonizing pleas of “Well Of Sorrows,” the album functions as a sonic descent into what the artist describes as a “left handed path of life.”
Lyrically, the record is a raw confrontation with personal demons and “night terrors.” Tracks like “Barbiturated (Delirium)” and “Get High (Before I Die)” paint a bleak picture of “brain matter boiling away” and the struggle against “voices in the head,” while “Left Hand Path” evokes a ritualistic landscape where “witches join and partake in magic and sorcery.”
The visual identity of the album is bolstered by a striking cover painted by artist @84ren48, which complements the record’s “abnormal mind” aesthetic.
