Today, Epic Doom/Dark Power Metallers Behölder are proud to announce the release of their debut album “In The Temple Of The Tyrant,” out April 25th via Black Lion Records. To celebrate the announcement, the band has released the first single from the upcoming album, “A Pale Blood Sky,” which is accompanied by a music video, available to view below.
On the new single, Behölder comments:
“Haunted by disturbing visions and dreams, an aspiring adventurer looks to unravel the mysteries surrounding a series of gruesome, ritualistic murders that plague the city. Discovering an ancient pathway through a foreboding temple, his investigation leads through the catacombs where the truth behind his nightmarish dreams is unearthed but, he is powerless to stop what is coming, or his own demise.“

Behölder is an Epic Doom/Dark Power Metal band from the US inspired by classic Dungeons & Dragons. Formed in late 2021 by guitarist Carlos Alvarez, the band includes singer John Yelland, guitarist Matt Hodsdon, drummer Andrew Julkowski and bassist Michael “Oneirous” Sanchez.
Their songs weave cautionary tales from the more grim, foreboding realms of fantasy against a backdrop of colossal riffs with elegant yet powerful melodies.
