The Prog Metal Band The Between Buried & Me, actually on tour in North America, until December 15, 2019 announces a double tour for 2020 in Latin America and Australia.
Prog-metal innovators Between The Buried And Me have announced an east coast Australian tour for next year, off the back of their 2018 album Automata.
The tour is for their highly acclaimed show An Evening with Between The Buried And Me, which is a two-part live music extravaganza that spans the band’s 17-year music career.
Bassist Dan Briggs explained the concept of the show in a statement, saying: “the ‘evening with’ set is a curation of almost 20 years of music with the specific intent on realising what it all means in 2019 – how did we arrive here and where do we go?”
“Sometimes the process of realisation comes from breathing new life into old material. Over the two sets of music, there’s a four-part arc that will play out in the form of one cohesive night of music spanning 2002-2019.”
The shows will be taking place across February next year, with dates in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
After the Australian Tour, they will play Latin American Tour in Mexico, Costarica, Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador and Argentina. The tour will start on March 3, 2020 in Mexico City and will end March 15 in Sao oPaulo, Brazil.
