About “Engines Of Demolition“:
Zakk Wylde will tell you that everything in Black Label Society begins and ends with the riff.
For more than 25 years, Black Label Society has stood as one of heavy music’s most unshakable pillars, delivering blues-soaked grooves, crushing riffs, and soul-baring ballads with unwavering commitment. “Engines Of Demolition” is no exception, reaffirming the band’s dedication to pure, uncompromising Hard Rock.
In 2022, Wylde was invited to honor his fallen brothers, Dimebag Darrell Abbott and Vinnie Paul, as part of the Pantera Celebration. It was during the writing and recording that followed with Black Label Society that “Engines Of Demolition” began to take shape.
The album follows four singles released between 2024 and 2026 — “The Gallows,” “Lord Humungus,” “Broken and Blind,” and “Name In Blood” — and marks the band’s first full-length release since “Doom Crew Inc.” in 2021.
Black Label Society embodies the paradox at the heart of Wylde’s work: thunderous, heavy, blues-driven riffs balanced by deeply emotional ballads. Fronted by one of rock and metal’s most iconic figures, BLS remains a relentless force on record and on stage, equal parts celebration and catharsis.
As Wylde says: “Less is more with everything – except the guitar solos and coffee.”
