Serpentine Sisters” is more than just a song; it’s a powerful tribute to the formidable women who have inspired and shaped the band’s lead vocalist. “Serpentine Sisters is my favorite song we have written as a band to date. It was written in tribute to every woman in my life who helped shape me into who I am, and about watching them do amazing things despite living in a patriarchal society that is constantly making things an uphill battle for them. I feel very fortunate to have grown up around so many amazing women in my life, and I felt like I needed to find a way to convey that, and also create a call to action for every single woman out there who may not yet realize that she is capable of tremendous things on her own, despite society potentially telling her otherwise, or telling her that she needs the help of a man to reach her potential,” says the band’s frontman Joshua Murphy.

Seasons Vol. 2” promises to be a compelling follow-up to their debut collection, featuring an array of songs that showcase Blessed Black‘s dynamic range and lyrical depth. “We are absolutely overjoyed to finally have our second volume in the Seasons anthology available worldwide. We think that this is our best material to date, and we can’t wait to hear what all of you think of this new release. Volume three is in the works, with four to follow later this year as well. We want to thank everyone who has taken the time to listen to our songs, share them with your friends, and reach out to us to share your thoughts on them. We will see you all on the road later this year!” the band shares.
