On September 23rd, Niji Entertainment and BMG will release two legendary DIO live performances at the Castle Donington festival in the UK.
“Donington ’83” resumes the band’s original lineup during the “Holy Diver” tour, a young and hungry band three months after the release of their debut-album. The set contains classic tracks from Ronnie James Dio‘s career as the lead singer of Rainbow and Black Sabbath (“Man on the Silver Mountain,” “Neon Knights,” “Stargazer” and “Heaven and Hell“), along with other classics such as “Holy Diver,” “Rainbow in the Dark” and “Stand Up and Shout.”
After three hugely successful studio albums and silver, gold and platinum records, “Donington ’87” instead resumes the lineup of “Dream Evil,” again featuring classics such as “The Last in Line,” “Rock ‘N’ Roll Children” and “All The Fools Sailed Away.”
