Michigan based Stoner/Doom band Bog Wizard released first single “Dodz Bringare” taken from their upcoming new album “Journey Through the Dying Lands” due out on October 25, 2024. Stream te track through the YouTube player below:

Dodz Bringare is based off the character Dodz Bringare by John Baltisberger, chronicled in his book Whispers of the Dead Saint, and the short story Screams of the Necropolis, included in the Journey Through the Dying Lands anthology book!
The album drops Oct 25th, but the vinyl, CD, and anthology book are all available to pre-order now! There’s just a couple limited edition CD bundles left in our Big Cartel store, which includes hand made resin dice and a hand made (by us) wooden dice box with the Bog Wizard logo engraved on top of it, plus some other cool stuff.“
“The Journey Through the Dying Lands” album is a concept collaboration between Bog Wizard and Madness Hearts Games, originally intended to be an shorter release to tie into the anthology book set in the Mork Borg universe of the same name, the music took over and album grew into something bigger than ever imagined.
“I, Mycelium” is a retelling of the short story by Bog Wizard drummer Harlen Linke, included in the anthology, about the Bog Wizard himself. “Dodz Bringare” is about a character chronicled in the Screams of the Necropolis short story in Journey, as well as Whispers of the Dead Saint by John Baltisberger. “Hagfish Dinner” is another retelling of the short story included in the Journey anthology by Ian SerVaas.
