Formed in 1971 by two Hertfordshire Folk duos joining forces: Contrast (Chris & Roger Jeffery), who were “more contemporary” and Grendell’s Ring (Pat Turner and Pete Cunningham) who took a more “traditional” approach. Gigged extensively: Sidmouth Folk Festival, recorded by BBC, nd in 1973 cut an Acetate LP at Orange Studios and a single. Previously had two tracks on the Pirton Live! LP. Appeared on Deacon & Ross Sweet Wiliams Ghost and Sunday Afternoons Split up in early 1977. Sadly Chris died in May 1978.
