[News] Conan’s bassist and producer Chris Fielding will part ways with band after upcoming tour

Conan‘s bassist and producer, Chris Fielding, will leave the band after the upcoming UK tour in March 2024. Fielding, who joined the band in late 2013 as a replacement for Phil Coumbe, wants to focus on other areas of his life but will stay as a producer. The band has already appointed Fielding‘s successor and will make an announcement on that in due course.

The band states on their official Facebook page:

Nothing lasts forever…..
It is with sadness that we announce the imminent departure of Chris Fielding from Conan.
Chris joined the band late 2013, as a replacement for Phil Coumbe, and established himself as a very important member both in his role as performer and also as producer. Together we have enjoyed many enjoyable trips and experiences and created music that we are very proud of. We have become close friends during that time and so of course we support Chris’s wish to focus on other areas of his life. He will of course remain as our producer.
Chris’s last shows with Conan will come during our upcoming UK tour in March 2024. Make sure you come along and say goodbye.
We have appointed Chris’s successor and will make an announcement on that in due course.
Hail Conan.
