The Galicians Cró! continue to unveil singles from what will be their next studio album “Buah!,” scheduled for release on April 29, 2022 via Spinda Records, in collaboration with Kill Vinyl Records. On this occasion, they present the song “Diola Gigante,” the self-named by the band itself as “the dance theme” and in whose video a giant green bear shows how they dance from Vladimir Putin to Los Chichos, as well as characters from the underground popular culture more related to techno and design laughter and yellow humour. After more than 5 years of silence at record level, Cró! gave the surprise last 2021 with the inclusion of the unreleased song “Buah” in the compilation boxset “Grados. Minutes. Seconds.” (2021, Spinda Records). At the beginning of March of this same year they released “Lille” as the first advance of their imminent new studio adventure, and now they present a new single entitled “Diola Gigante,” which was born as a clear tribute to the Galician formation Diola (a parallel project of 3 of the members of Unicornibot, a key band of the Metamovida) and that plays with the idea of the arrival of a giant wave in the middle of a world tour.
In each and every one of the pieces that make up the album “Buah!” the formation made up of Rubén Abad (guitar), Xavier Núñez (keyboards), Cibrán Rey (drums) and David Santos (bass) continues to deepen their particular way of understanding Progressive Rock and that way of working that has led them to be one of the best sound secrets on a national level since they began more than a decade ago. But what about Cro! it is no longer a secret; they are unique and unrepeatable and this new installment confirms it.
Recorded, mixed and mastered by Pablo Iglesias at Radar Estudios (Vigo), the new album by Cró! It has a fantastic artwork by Joseba Muruzábal, with design by Monte Piñeiro. “Buah!” it will be released on April 29, 2022 in a limited edition of 300 copies on black vinyl, whose reservations are already underway at spindarecords.com and spindarecords.bandcamp.com.
