Edinburgh based Crooked Mouth have released a new track “Astronaut” which can be found in all the usual internet places, including Spotify and YouTube. The track is expected to appear on the planned fourth album “Lost Time” which will be the band’s first full release since 2015’s “One Bright Midnight.” Watch the video below:
“Astronaut” features most of the usual Crooked Mouth suspects along with new boy Lewis Moore on vocals. Writer/guitarist Ken Campbell comments: ‘I grew up watching the Apollo moonshots and, for many of that generation, the astronauts were real heroes, almost superhuman. However, the idea of ‘heroes’ has a limited shelf life and over time we see that, really, there are no supermen – only us. Astronaut is reminding us not to put too much store in other people’s ideas of who and what to follow.’
