UK Gothic Doom Metal act Elderseer unveiled the official lyric video for the track “Under A Dark Sky” taken from their debut album “Drown In The Shallowness,” out on February 3rd, 2023 via Meuse Music Records. Watch the video through the YouTube player below:

Elderseer is a Pagan Gothic Doom Metal band from Southern England. The band, formed in 2017, has a crushingly Heavy Dark Atmospheric sound and powerful melodic elements taking much influence from the melancholic UK Gothic Doom scene from the 90s.

Blackened yet melodic and slow yet intense, the music is a beautiful catalyst for lonely and melancholic moments to escape the outside. The lyrical side have contemporary pagan themes, touching on subjects of nature and society, especially isolation, darkness and self introspection, a critique of this modern societal landscape and a view of one’s place within.

Since the start of 2018 the band hit the live circuit and have shared stages with Moonsorrow, Heidevolk, Godthrymm, Alunah, Consecration, Stahlsarg, Zornheym and among others. December 2018 saw the release of the “Bind Us As One” EP and December 2019 Elderseer were honoured to play HRH Vikings II Festival at Sheffield Arena.

Elderseer signed to Meuse Music Records in 2022 and released the first full-length album “Drown In The Shallowness” in February 2023.
