Just two weeks after the release of their debut album, “From The Limbo,” the French band Empty Full Space presents “Live at Le Sample,” a live session featuring three tracks from their new album.

Halfway between the release of their debut album, “From The Limbo” (2024, Spinda Records), and the start of their corresponding presentation tour on April 12th in Paris, the French quintet Empty Full Space releases “Live at Le Sample.” This is a live session recorded at the cultural center Le Sample in Bagnolet, on the outskirts of the Parisian capital, where they perform up to three tracks from their debut album, showcasing their most hypnotic and Psychedelic side.

In the words of the band themselves:
▪ “Morphogene“: “A kind of instrumental with a surf/psychedelic style. We always end our concerts with this song. The audience really enjoys it, and everything becomes quite wild
▪ “The Wheel“: “It’s quite unusual for the band to have a typical four-chord verse and so many lyrics. It’s a much quieter piece, bordering on acoustic, although the chorus moves more into shoegaze and garage territory
▪ “Amnesia“: “It’s undoubtedly the heaviest song we’ve composed, always revolving around a guitar riff that flows endlessly and around which elements are added

More about Empty Full Space and their debut album:

After three preview singles (“Amnesia,” “From The Limbo” and “Morphogene“) in which they showcased their peculiar blend of Neo-Psychedelia, Surf, Krautrock and Garage with certain touches of Western Rock, Empty Full Space released “From The Limbo” on March 20th through Spinda Records and their “Trippy Series.”

With just one year in the Paris indie scene and a few dozen concerts under their belt, the band composed of Nico (guitars, vocals), Flo (drums, backing vocals), Edgar (synthesizers, percussion), Antoine (bass) and Max (guitars) has managed to create a set of six songs that will delight fans of bands like The Brian Jonestown Massacre, King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard, Can, Tame Impala, King Buffalo or Atavismo* with their particular journey filled with Fuzz, multiple layers of sound, and mesmerizing rhythms.

From The Limbo” was recorded halfway between the Heat Studios and the Pain de Mie Studios in France by Pierre Dessauny and Djibee respectively and then mixed and mastered at Fuzzface Studios in Scotland by Jason Shaw.
