[News] Esoteric Recordings to release The Move’s “Message From The Country” remastered & expanded CD edition

The album was recorded while members Roy Wood, Jeff Lynne and Bev Bevan were also creating the debut album by their newly formed group The Electric Light Orchestra and was the result of lengthy recording sessions during which Wood and Lynne undertook extensive overdubbing to create an album which is now regarded as a masterpiece.

Released in June 1971 on EMI’s Progressive imprint Harvest, “Message From The Country” would be the final LP by The Move.

This new expanded edition of this classic album has been newly remastered from the original Harvest tapes and features an additional 9 tracks drawn from three singles issued between May 1971 and April 1972 and session out-takes.

• NEW REMASTERED EDITION OF THE CLASSIC 1971 ALBUM BY THE MOVE WITH NINE BONUS TRACKS.
