Belgian-Colombian Progressive-Latin American Metal band Fabulae Dramatis continues to ignite global audiences with the release of the official lyric video for “Pawn Out of Board,” a standout track from their critically acclaimed album “Violenta,” released in September 2024.
Fierce, poetic, and unrelenting, “Pawn Out of Board” is a battle cry for the disempowered-a declaration of resistance against fear, conformity, and silence. With bold lyrics like “Raise your voice! / Break the chains! / Even Goliath was beaten once!,” the song dives deep into themes of oppression, rebellion, and awakening, wrapped in the band’s signature blend of theatrical metal, world influences, and progressive edge.

Following the release of “Violenta,” Fabulae Dramatis embarked on an international tour that’s brought their dynamic live energy to stages across the globe-including an electrifying performance at Rock al Parque in Bogotá, Colombia (November 2024), and aboard the legendary 70,000 Tons of Metal Cruise in the United States in January 2025 for 2 shows.
Next up, the band heads to Quito, Ecuador, where they’ll open for the iconic gothic band Lacrimosa and perform at Vivoral Rock Festival this May 2025-further solidifying their presence in Latin America and going back to their roots.
