Some bands are extremely difficult to categorise or place them in a single musical genre and the Portuguese collective known as Fere surely are one of those groups.
Existing since 2016, the quartet from Oporto now return with their second album “Visceral,” an album travelling across varied musical landscapes, merging elements of Post-Rock, Experimental, Ambient and Doom. Purely instrumental, “Visceral” is a contemplative about memory, a map to our subconscious and some painful memories hidden in deepest corners of the mind.
The follow-up to 2018’s debut album “Montedor” will be released on November 15, 2021 via Raging Planet Records.
