Lightning is a film by auteur Tom Daniel Reiersen. Using traditional animation techniques like hand drawn and hand coloured cell animation blendend with video footage and other media. Liquid paint backgrounds are from Videezy.com.
The music is written and performed by Fog Mountain. Recorded in our studio in Dikemark Sykehus. Mixed by Fred Are Wolter. Mastered by Jacob Holm-Lupo at Holm-Lupo Lydproduksjon. BIO
Airy, Spacey, Jazzy and Psychedelic sounds melt together in a slightly Kraut-inspired trio. Add a touch of Prog, surfing onto new adventures in the musical sea.
The three founding members played together in the Norwegian Rock band Jolly Cobra. When that project was put on hold, they began to jam together over some Spacey ideas, using elements from their current and former projects such as Reptiljërnet and the Norwegian Prog Rock band Gargamel. The blend of new ideas from all three members turned into Fog Mountain.
Tom Uglebakken on vocals, guitars, and saxophone (Gargamel / Jolly Cobra / Falcon Hood), Fred Are Wolter on drums, vocals, synthesizers, and saxophone (Reptiljërnet / Jolly Cobra / Merry November) and Tom Daniel Reiersen on bass (Jolly Cobra / Merry November) form the core of this innovative trio.
Founded in late fall 2021 in Oslo, Norway, Fog Mountain’s sound is a unique fusion of their diverse musical backgrounds. “Lightning” captures the intensity and beauty of life’s unexpected moments, featuring powerful lyrics and a compelling melody that promises to leave a lasting impact on listeners.
