Italian modern Alternative/Progressive Metal band Frozen Sand will release their new album “Fractals: A Shadow out of Lights” on May 15, 2026. Today, the band shares the official music video for “Meet the Enemy,” now available via the band’s official YouTube channel.

“THE STORY IS ABOUT TO BEGIN…” – says the band
After 9 years from our latest album, “Fractals: A Shadow out of Lights,” we are now finally proud to release its new full-length sequel, “Fractals: A Light among Shadows,” as a completion of our trilogy concept-saga “Fractals.”
A massive work that, during the overall process, seemed to be almost never-ending, unachievable, unreachable… but after hundreds of pre-production drafts, continuous arrangements and uncountable hours of recording sessions, our new little masterpiece is ready to be released.
The album delves into the darkest and most recondite corners of the human feelings, telling about the parallel stories of 12 characters coming from different places and time periods, but still linked together by similar feelings, experiences and deeds.
As far as the overall sound, “Fractals: A Light among Shadows” explores a variety of musical genres and styles, with the most noticeable influences coming mainly from Djent, Alternative Metal, Prog Rock, and Power Metal, at times drawing inspiration from bands such as Periphery, TesseracT, Breaking Benjamin, Motionless in White, Karnivool, Protest the Hero and Dream Theater.
The band will also launch the hard copy (limited edition) on Thursday, May 21st, with the album’s Release Party Concert at Rock‘NRoll Club in Rho, Milano (Italy).
