And so we get near the end of another mad year. In what was supposed to be a quiet one for Fruits de Mer, we’ve probably ended up releasing more…er, releases than ever before – 7” singles, double singles, LPs, double LPs, lathe-cuts, 4 CD sets – you know, more of the usual sort of stuff you get from Fruits de Mer Records, not to mention the return of our annual (except for Covid) summer festival – the 18th Dream of Dr. Sardonicus.
“The Red Herring” pulls together a few artists and tracks from 2022 that might have escaped your attention first time around, in the hope that you’ll give them a listen and maybe some airtime, so they might be fooled into thinking they’ve been working with a proper record label…
