Turin, Italy based Geometry Of Chaos have just unveiled the lyric video of their new single “Idolatry.” The track is taken from the debut album “Soldiers of the New World Order.” Watch the official lyric video through the YouTube player below:
“‘Idolatry’ is a song that deals with the relationship of human beings towards their idols, myth, faith. It is a detached and non-moralizing gaze on the human predisposition to venerate superior beings, be they spiritual or in flesh and blood. Sometimes idolatry leads to fanaticism, other times it is limited to a spiritual connection with something divine,” explains the band about the track.

Geometry Of Chaos are the new project of Fabio La Manna, guitarist, bassist and composer, and Davide Cardella, drummer, and are born from the ashes of their previous band, Alchemy Room. The debut “Soldiers of the New World Order” sees the participation of various guests on vocals: Marcello Vieira, Ethan Cronin and Elena Lippe. Theirs is modern Progressive Metal with a cinematic twist and a lot of Classic Rock influences.
That of Geometry Of Chaos is dynamic, Progressive, Atmospheric, Melodic, wild music. “Soldiers of the New World Order” represents an engaging and compelling, wide-ranging experience, with variable atmospheres and ever-changing sensations. It is not a comfortable journey, it needs attention and identification, as well as an aptitude for rapid changes in mood. The album is a concept: all the tracks, in fact, are linked together by the historical period and the current situation of the world. The context is that of a New World Order, a single government that manipulates and controls everything from money and politics to people’s lives.
“This is a very different situation from the real one, in truth, since in the record people are aware that they are only in the interest of strangers and that their freedom is really fictitious. The awareness is different, however there is a feeling of helplessness and resignation, which tends to accept this state of ‘slavery’. In the disc there is a strong correlation between man, soldier and robot, figures that become almost indistinct, so the orders imposed on them make them almost totally devoid of free will”, says Fabio La Manna.
