The end of Gilmore Trail has arrived. It’s been an amazing 15 years for us, and we want to thank you all for joining us on our journey.
It’s with great happiness that we can now look back on our career, one which included playing our favourite festival in the world (ArcTanGent), Portals Festival, Tramlines multiple times, a live BBC studio session, multiple airings on BBC Radio 6 from Steve Lamacq, 90 gigs (including 3 weddings), three UK tours, three full length albums, two EPs, two cover songs and, most recently, a collaboration with one of our musical heroes. We managed to achieve more or less everything we set out to do, and we remain great friends; as a band you quite simply can’t ask for more than that, and so our hearts are full.

The band states: “Although Gilmore Trail has reached its natural conclusion, we couldn’t leave you without one last hurrah.
Wildfire stands as our longest and most ambitious composition in 15 years. This single-track EP pushed us to our musical limits and represents the epitome of our shared creative vision. We feel it has afforded us a sense of closure as a band, and we hope it does the same for you.
We’re thrilled to have the wonderful Jo Quail along for the ride on electric cello. As huge fans, this collaboration has been both our pleasure and privilege.
Thank you again for all of your support over the years.
All our love and gratitude,
Bob, Danny, Dave & Joe x“
