Swiss-based band Gora Mama release “Mammoth,” a Heavy Stoner song about the transcendence of Mammoths into gods. Each year, a late Mesolithic tribe celebrate the memory of the giants that once wandered thought the Eurasian icy steppe. The storyteller, keeper of the tribe’s collective memory, sings the music that explains how this gigantic animal joined the pantheon of their gods to form one of the constellations that guides them in the dark. With this release, Gora Mama wants to take you on a musical journey into their collective imagination and inspiration.
