Two years after the album “MindBowling” (Cave Canem DIY/Controcanti Productions),” Gotho return with their new album, “Gothron Versus Fartark,” due out on 15 November 2024 via Supernatural Cat Records.

As the devourer of worlds Fartark prepares to extinguish the light of the universe, the mysterious Logtark people create Gothron, a giant robot on which the fate of the entire cosmos will depend.
“Gothron Ars, Gothron Ars Eem (Gothron Rise, Gothron Rise Now!)” introduces itself with a section of pressing unisons, which build an initial tension. On this basis, epic and cosmic melodies emerge, evocative of the spatial atmosphere in which the story unfolds. The song continually transforms, with the main theme being destroyed and rebuilt, traversing a sonic journey that touches on Metal, Psychedelia and Progressive Rock. A powerful and dynamic introduction that sets the ambitious tone of the album.

Biography:
Gotho are an instrumental duo consisting of Fabio Cuomo (Elder, Eremite, Liquido Di Morte) on synthesisers and electric piano and Andrea Peracchia (Tons, Dogs for Breakfast, Slaiver) on drums. Synthesisers, electric piano and drums are the only instruments (no bases, loops or overdubs). The presence of Progressive Rock, Metal, Jazz, Disco Music, Psychedelia, Post-Rock, Classical makes it impossible to identify with a single genre. In 2022 they debuted with the album “MindBowling” (Cave Canem DIY/Controcanti Productions). “Gothron Versus Fartark” (2024, Supernatural Cat Records) is the band’s new album.
