Swedish Doom Metal artist Grim Colossus has released a lyric video for the song “Phantasmagoria.” The song is included on the upcoming EP “Descent Into Madness,” due out on 21 June on CD and major digital streaming platforms. Watch the video throughthe YouTube player below:

“Descent Into Madness” features 7 tracks of doom metal inspired by Candlemass, Solitude Aeturnus and Trouble. The album narrates the journey of a man who, after his studies on Evil and readings of forbidden occult writings, is haunted by evil entities every time he closes his eyes. Tired of the terrible visions he sees in his nightmares, the nameless man must set off on an expedition into the deepest and darkest jungle, far from any other civilisation, where he rests in a tomb, a cemetery that holds the secrets of his life.
The sound of Grim Colossus is bleak, with a focus on heavy riffs, dark atmospheres and eerie lyrics, along with some reminiscences of Down, present in some tracks in the form of groove-soaked riffs and mid-tempo.
