Recorded by the band themselves and mixed by Clément Libes (Bruit), the critical success of the Panorama EP will peak with an epic live performance at the legendary Trans Musicales festival this December whilst an astounding live session for renowned US radio station KEXP earlier this year marked Hanry’s international debut.
Disruption EP finds Hanry refining their already razor-sharp sound even further. Tender synth refrains and lilting trip-hop grooves collide spectacularly with mountains of guitar distortion and thunderous bass, leaving the listener suspended in sound; helpless and enthralled.
Aerial manoeuvres above the cloudline, endless drives through the city at night; Disruption EP, the latest breathtaking release from Rennes-based post-rock/post-hardcore collective Hanry, is a tantalising glimpse of things to come.
Bursting onto the European scene with their debut Panorama EP in 2022, French instrumental six-piece Hanry quickly established themselves as something altogether different; fusing soaring post-rock with acoustic warmth and the fragile intimacy of ambient electronica. Recorded by the band themselves and mixed by Clément Libes (Bruit), the critical success of the Panorama EP will peak with an epic live performance at the legendary Trans Musicales festival in December this year which will also be broadcast across national television.
A similarly breathtaking live session recorded for renowned American radio station KEXP marked Hanry’s international debut and the start of a new creative relationship with Berlin’s Pelagic Records.

Standout track Ether is a haunting showcase of the collective’s ever evolving musical maturity. Ice-cold motifs float effortlessly on top of each other as the track’s dynamic ebbs and flows from a delicate whisper to an almighty roar before drifting off into the dark leaving us desperate for more without ever saying a word.
The digitally-released Disruption EP is Hanry’s first collaborative effort with Pelagic Records and there are even grander plans already in the works.
