The epic twelve-minute track “Skyfall,” written by Kai Hansen, has the much-desired “Keeper” vibe, but does not musically reflect the album’s entire story, which traces every era loved by fans: from unforgettable times to most recent glorious adventures up to the next album of the new era of Helloween. “Skyfall” tells of an alien landing on Earth and a dramatic chase, as Hansen, Kiske and Deris duel each other in a breathtaking way and create a broadband adventure, which includes a sheet with text and colored blocks identifying the singers and a terrific video. Produced by Martin Häusler, it will be the most elaborate video in the band’s history, made with 3-D animation in a cinematic guise!

The basis of the upcoming album had already been laid in the studio: using the original drums of Ingo Schwichtenberg, the recording was made with the same modulators at the Home studios in Hamburg, where “Master Of The Rings” were recorded at the time, “The Time Of The Oath” and “Better Than Raw.” An impactful return to analogue roots thanks to the great work of longtime producer Charlie Bauerfeind and co-producer Dennis Ward before the album flew to New York for the final mix at Ronald Prent’s Valhalla Studios (Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Rammstein).
With the newest material, an album has been created that stands out from the digital mainstream, proving that the essence of the band has never been so solid.
